144 Saudi Athletes Set to Represent Kingdom at Asian Games 2026
RIYADH — Saudi Arabia will send a 144-athlete delegation representing 19 national teams to compete at the 20th Asian Games, Aichi-Nagoya 2026, in Japan.
The Asian Games are scheduled to take place in Nagoya from September 19 to October 4, bringing together athletes from across the region for one of Asia’s biggest multi-sport events.
As part of its preparations, the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee will organize a training camp for the Kingdom’s teams in Fuji, Japan. The camp is scheduled to run from August 29 through October 3, providing athletes with an opportunity to complete their preparations ahead of the competition.
The participation of 144 Saudi athletes across 19 national teams reflects the Kingdom’s continued focus on developing national sporting talent and strengthening its presence at major international sporting events.
