Saudi Businesses Urged to File June Withholding Tax Returns by July 10
RIYADH — The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has reminded businesses in Saudi Arabia to submit their June 2026 withholding tax returns no later than July 10, 2026.
The authority urged eligible establishments to file their tax returns through ZATCA’s official online platform to avoid late payment penalties.
According to ZATCA, businesses that fail to pay on time will be charged a 1% penalty on the unpaid tax for every 30 days of delay after the due date.
The authority also clarified that withholding tax applies to payments made from sources within Saudi Arabia to non-resident entities that do not have a permanent establishment in the Kingdom. The applicable tax rates are determined under Article 68 of the Income Tax Law and Article 63 of its Executive Regulations.
Businesses requiring additional guidance on withholding tax can contact ZATCA through its 24/7 unified call center (19993) for assistance.
