NAJRAN — Sports and fitness tracks across Najran are experiencing increased visitor numbers this summer, attracting residents and tourists looking for outdoor activities and healthier lifestyles during the holiday season.

According to Najran Municipality, 44 sports tracks have been developed in parks and public gardens throughout Najran city and its surrounding governorates. The initiative aims to encourage regular physical activity, improve public well-being, and create more recreational spaces for the community.

The tracks are equipped with a range of modern facilities, including outdoor fitness equipment, cycling lanes, comfortable seating areas, landscaped green spaces, public amenities, and enhanced lighting to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors.

One of the busiest locations is the King Fahd Park walking track, which stretches 2,660 meters in length and is 10 meters wide. The park’s abundant trees and green surroundings provide a cooler atmosphere, making it a popular destination for daily walks, exercise, and family outings.

Another favorite among visitors is the walking track at Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz Park, which offers spacious recreational areas, modern facilities, shaded green landscapes, and an inviting environment for outdoor fitness.

Municipality officials noted that people of all age groups are making regular use of these sports tracks, reflecting growing awareness of the importance of exercise and supporting efforts to promote healthier lifestyles throughout the Najran region.
