MAKKAH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced a new one-year multiple-entry Umrah visa, allowing eligible pilgrims to visit the Kingdom several times within a 12-month period while staying for a combined total of up to 90 days.

The visa remains valid for 365 days from the date of issuance, giving pilgrims greater flexibility to perform multiple Umrah visits throughout the year. The total permitted stay of 90 days is calculated cumulatively based on the number of days spent in the Kingdom during each visit.

The ministry clarified that the multiple-entry Umrah visa cannot be used to enter Saudi Arabia during the Hajj season. It also noted that the duration of each approved service package must not exceed the remaining number of days available under the visa.

To use the visa, pilgrims are required to purchase an approved service package from one of the accredited service providers listed on the Nusuk platform for every visit.

Before every visit, pilgrims must obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk app. The permit dates must match the approved service package, and travelers are required to meet all applicable travel and entry requirements.

According to the ministry, the visa is automatically suspended each time a pilgrim leaves the Kingdom and is reactivated for future visits once all regulatory requirements have been fulfilled.

Any unused eligible stay can be carried forward and used during future visits within the visa’s one-year validity period.
