JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia is expected to experience dust-stirring winds across several southern and western regions on Saturday, along with chances of rain and hail in some areas, according to the National Center for Meteorology (NCM).

The NCM said weather conditions are expected to affect parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah, while temperatures are forecast to rise in parts of the Eastern Province.

Over the Red Sea, northwesterly to northerly winds are expected across the northern and central sections, while southwesterly to southeasterly winds will affect the southern part, with wind speeds ranging between 12 km/h and 50 km/h.

Wave heights in the Red Sea are expected to range from 0.5 metres to more than 2 metres, with sea conditions varying from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to westerly winds are forecast over the northern areas at speeds of 15–35 km/h, while southeasterly to southwesterly winds are expected across the central and southern parts at 10–25 km/h.

Wave heights in the Arabian Gulf are forecast to range between 0.5 and 1.5 metres, with generally calm sea conditions.
