Saudi Arabia Approves Evaluation Results of International Hajj Service Providers
MAKKAH — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has approved and published the evaluation results of companies that provided services to international pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj season.
The annual evaluation is part of the ministry’s efforts to improve service quality, strengthen transparency, and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.
The assessment covered companies serving pilgrims through pilgrim affairs offices, affiliated organizers, and the direct Hajj model. Based on their performance, companies were placed into three categories:
- Tier One: Outstanding Performance
- Tier Two: Very Good Performance
- Tier Three: Good Performance
According to the ministry, the evaluation is based on two main criteria. Compliance and adherence account for 60% of the total score, while service quality accounts for the remaining 40%.
The assessment relies on field inspections, documented evidence, operational data, and pilgrim satisfaction surveys. Companies are also given the opportunity to submit objections before the final results are approved to ensure fairness and accuracy.
The ministry said publishing the results promotes transparency, encourages healthy competition among service providers, and motivates companies to improve their performance for future Hajj seasons.
Officials added that the evaluation system supports better regulatory decisions, strengthens compliance with operational standards, and helps enhance the overall experience of pilgrims visiting the Kingdom.
The complete evaluation results are available on the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s official website.
