Riyadh Selected as Host City for Global Security and Technology Summit 2026

RIYADH: The Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with Tuwaiq Academy, will host the Global Security and Technology Summit (GSTS) in Riyadh from December 18 to 20, 2026. The event will be held under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, according to Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif.

Prince Abdulaziz expressed his appreciation for the Crown Prince’s patronage, stating that it reflects the leadership’s continued support for strengthening the security sector and advancing digital transformation at the national, regional, and international levels.

The summit will feature a range of specialized programs, expert-led discussions, and technical workshops covering key topics such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, smart surveillance technologies, and crisis management. The event will bring together representatives from government organizations, private sector companies, and academic institutions.

The program will also include the SAIIF Global Security and Technology Innovation Competition, scheduled to take place in Riyadh from November 19 to 21, 2026. The competition will offer prizes worth SR5 million and will focus on innovative solutions related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation within the security sector.
