RIYADH: The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has introduced a new initiative aimed at supporting the Saudi national football team by creating fan viewing areas across the Kingdom during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

As part of the initiative, municipalities will prepare and equip designated locations in public parks, city squares, waterfronts, and other public spaces to welcome fans who wish to watch Saudi national team matches in a comfortable and family-friendly environment with essential services.

The program is designed to make it easier for residents to enjoy the matches close to their neighborhoods while encouraging community engagement and national support. It is also expected to bring together families, friends, and visitors across different regions, cities, and governorates to share the World Cup experience.
