ABHA: The Asir Development Authority has introduced an interactive digital map designed to help residents and tourists explore attractions, events, and experiences throughout the Asir region.

The platform offers up-to-date information on tourism routes, destinations, and activities, enabling visitors to organize their travel plans more efficiently and discover a wide range of experiences available across the region.

The launch comes alongside the opening of the Asir Summer Season, which was inaugurated by Asir Governor Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz.

Organized with support from the Ministry of Tourism and the Saudi Tourism Authority, and in cooperation with the National Events Center, the summer program aims to welcome more than 3 million visitors.

This year’s season includes over 100 events and experiences spread across Asir’s cities and governorates, featuring cultural programs, entertainment activities, artistic performances, sporting events, and family-friendly attractions.

According to the authority, the interactive map is part of ongoing efforts to improve the overall visitor experience by making tourism information more accessible and easier to navigate. Visitors can access the service through the Discover Asir platform to explore destinations and plan their journeys across the region.
