RIYADH — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has issued a heatwave warning for several parts of the Riyadh region on Tuesday, with temperatures expected to range between 47°C and 48°C.

The warning covers Riyadh city, along with Diriyah, Thadiq, Huraymila, Rumah, Dhurma, Marat, Al-Hariq, Al-Kharj, Al-Dalam, Hawtat Bani Tamim, Al-Muzahamiyah, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Rayn, Al-Quwayiyah, Afeef, Al-Aflaj, and Al-Sulayyil.

According to the NCM, the heatwave is expected to begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 7:00 p.m.

Residents are advised to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours, stay hydrated, and follow weather updates issued by the National Center for Meteorology.
