Saudi 911 Emergency Centers Handle 2.6 Million Calls in June

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s National Security Operations Center processed more than 2.63 million calls through the unified 911 emergency number during June 2026, highlighting the extensive use of the Kingdom’s emergency response system.

According to the center, a total of 2,631,374 calls were received through the unified emergency service, which covers the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions.

The 911 Operations Centers receive emergency reports and direct them to the appropriate security and public service agencies using advanced automated systems. The centers operate 24 hours a day and are staffed by specialized personnel capable of assisting callers in multiple languages.

Among the regions served by the system, Riyadh recorded the highest call volume with 1,112,499 calls, followed by the Makkah Region with 790,294 calls.

The Eastern Province registered 501,635 calls, while the Madinah Region handled 226,946 calls during the month.
