RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior (MOI) has introduced new military training programs focused on artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and programming in partnership with Tuwaiq Academy.

The four-month programs are being offered through the ministry’s General Directorate of Central Admission under the Agency for Military Affairs and include four dedicated training tracks covering AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software programming.

The initiative is designed to qualify participants for military appointments at the ranks of Deputy Sergeant (Wakeel Raqib) and Corporal (‘Arif).

The programs are open to male applicants holding diploma, bachelor’s, or higher qualifications.

According to the ministry, participants will receive accredited professional certifications while gaining practical, hands-on experience through an applied learning approach that aligns with current technology industry standards.

Applicants must meet the Ministry of Interior’s military service requirements as well as the admission criteria set by Tuwaiq Academy.

Registration for the programs will open on Monday, July 20, 2026, and close on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026
