PARIS — Saudi Team Falcons were crowned Rocket League champions at the Esports World Cup 2026 after defeating Spacestation Gaming 4-0 in the Grand Final.

After three years of competing in the tournament, Team Falcons secured their first Rocket League title. The championship-winning roster featured Sami Hajji “Dralii” and twin brothers Yazid Bakhshwin “Kiileerrz” and Saleh Bakhshwin “Rw9.” Kiileerrz and Rw9 also made history as the first Saudi players to win an Esports World Cup trophy.

The Rocket League championship earned Team Falcons $400,000 in prize money and 1,000 Club Championship points. The result moved the Saudi team to the top of the Club Championship standings with 4,400 points, giving them a 300-point lead over second-placed AG.AL, which has 4,100 points.

The victory also saw Dralii become the first player in Esports World Cup history to win three titles, with his three championships coming with three different rosters.

Rw9 was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player after delivering a strong and consistent performance throughout the competition. He averaged 0.78 goals, 0.83 assists, and 1.91 saves per game.

Team Falcons had to overcome a major challenge in the quarterfinals against traditional rivals Twisted Minds. After falling behind 1-2 in the series, Falcons were trailing 2-5 in the fourth game before staging a dramatic comeback to force overtime. They won the game and then secured two more victories to complete the series comeback.

Despite missing out on qualification for the Paris Major earlier in the year, Team Falcons maintained their training and carried the momentum from their quarterfinal comeback into the semifinals. They then swept defending champions Karmine Corp 4-0 to secure their place in the Grand Final.

With Team Vitality and Natus Vincere still within reach of the leaders, the Club Championship remains undecided and will be determined during the final competitions of the seventh and final week of the Esports World Cup 2026.
